Celebrant

Once you have confirmed your wedding date with our Wedding Department, we will then confirm a marriage celebrant who will conduct the ceremony. The marriage celebrant will discuss with you the legal procedures, as well as the ceremony content.

Flowers

A wedding bouquet for the bride and a button hole for the groom are included in your wedding package. We supply a posy, teardrop or sheath of seasonal flowers - just advise us of what style and colour you would like. Additional flowers can be arranged for your ceremony or reception.

Cake

Dunk Island has a brilliant Pastry Chef who will create your wedding cake to suit your taste and requirements. Both wedding packages include a simple 12cm, one-tiered wedding cake for 2 - 12 people. Fresh flowers which complement your bridal bouquet are included in the decoration of your cake at no extra charge. Variances in cakes are available, flavours to choose from include:

•    Traditional fruit cake
•    Chocolate mud cake
•    White chocolate mud cake
•    Pavlova
•    Jaffa cake

You may wish to enhance your wedding cake with the addition of an extra tier or sugared flowers, all of which are available at an extra charge. Please send any photos to your Wedding Coordinator so they can consult with our Pastry Chef.

Wedding Reception Décor

Your Dunk Island Wedding Coordinator can tailor a reception to suit the size and style of your wedding. You and your guests will leave Dunk Island with lifelong memories of your special day. Reception decorations include (charges apply):

•    Rose petals scattered
•    Chair covers and sashes
•    Personalized menus
•    Glass vases
•    Table floral arrangement
•    Flowers placed in sash on back of chair
•    Floral arrangements
•    Float bowls alone
•    Float bowl with flowers or candles

Hair & Makeup

Dunk Island does not have a hair or makeup artist at the Resort. However, we can recommend the services of an artist in Mission Beach for your hair and makeup. It is important to keep in mind that the cost of transfers and services are your responsibility.
