In December 2010, Dunk Island is being transformed into a Christmas wonderland, and the festive magic touches each and every aspect of the 12 Days of Christmas.

Land on Dunk and drop a letter for Santa into Santaʼs Mail Box. Shop for last minute presents with extended trading hours at the Butterfly Boutique.

On Christmas Eve, get into the spirit of the season with carols at sunset on the lawn, then let soloist Matt Zarb entertain you and take over the singing. Thereʼs a scrumptious seafood buffet being served at the Beachcomber, while the Terrace has delicious a la carte dining.

Father Christmas will definitely be visiting on Christmas morning, however his mode of transport wonʼt be reindeers on this Christmas Island - look for Santa on a wakeboard....a jetski...or even on a bike! Thereʼll be a treasure hunt for the young ones, and then Beachcomber presents a superb deli buffet luncheon and the Terrace offers a la carte. Christmas afternoon is the time for traditional games and activities like Tug O War, Egg & Spoon and 3 Legged Races!

In the cool of the evening, enjoy a traditional dinner as Beachcomber presents a Christmas carvery and seafood buffet, and cruise through the night with entertainment by Matt Zarb.

Boxing Day sees Dunk Islandʼs own sailing regatta, complete with a beach BBQ sausage sizzle and live band playing at the Jetty Cafe, or play a fun game of beach cricket. Chill out in the Plantation Bar and catch the Boxing Day cricket test from 10.30am. The Sydney to Hobart Race will also be screened here. At night, the Beachcomber presents a superb carvery buffet to cap off the day.

New Yearʼs Eve on Christmas Island is an opportunity to be as active or as laid back as you like. The famous Dunk Islandʼs Kids Club will be open and operating from 5.30pm until 10pm with movies, pizzas and games (bookings are advised). For the grown ups, the party theme is Black & Bling - get dressed in black and wear your best bling for prizes for best dressed.
