Dunk and Bedarra Island Resorts recently sponsored Australia’s #1 Sustainability Film Festival at Mission Beach.
As part of the festivities and to educate children on the beautiful Blue Ulysses Butterfly , we asked kids to draw their own version of the Blue Ulysses Butterfly.
Here is the winning entry from Georgia Hayley, aged 9.
About the Ulysses Butterfly:
The beautiful Blue Ulysses butterfly is synonymous with Dunk Island – not only forming part of our logo, but also found naturally on the Island. When the butterfly lands, the bright blue of its wings is hidden, helping it to blend in with its surroundings. As it opens its wings in flight, the flashing of it’s bright blue can be seen from a few hundred metres away. They often fly on the edge or above the canopy and are frequently spotted around the resort.
