Dunk Island

Experience the World Heritage listed Great Barrier Reef. Close to Dunk Island, only a 1 hour and 15 minute cruise away, is the stunning horse shoe shaped Eddy Reef. Calypso moors at the Eddy Reef lagoon for 3 hours giving you time to snorkel leisurely over beautiful coral or even try a Scuba Dive. Take a break to enjoy a tropical buffet lunch before diving back into more snorkelling. All dive and snorkelling equipment, together with floatation devices and wetsuit hire are available onboard. The Activities Centre can help you with your booking. Be sure to enquire early so you won’t miss out.

Departs Dunk Island at 10:00am and returns at 4.00pm.

Private charters are also available on request.

Diving

Calypso operates a 5 Star PADI Dive Centre and have qualified Dive Instructors available onboard to assist with all levels of diving. They can help you to 'Discover Scuba Diving' if you have not tried it before - the very best souvenir of the Great Barrier Reef.

For certified divers, the Calypso crew have a variety of dives available and will select the best site for the day and conditions.

- Introductory Dive - First $85 and second $45. The dive will be 0-8 metres for approximately 20 minutes.
- Certified Dive - First $55 and second $40. The dive will be 6-16 metres for 40-50 minutes.
